Kids' Space was launched in March of 1995 as a personal home page at Interport Communications. The first participants were from the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, and Hong Kong. Later that year, Japanese pages were created by readers from Japan.
In 1996, the site was separated into three main sections including one for creative activities, another for communication, and a section for learning basic computer skills. Hop Pop Town was added for InternetExpo 96.

Six of us formed Musecraft in 2000. Four of us are parents (at last count) of eight children (at last count); four of us are teachers.
